Symptoms and service
What’s changed with your range?
Fuel and heating arrangements differ across Monogram ranges. The model helps distinguish gas, dual-fuel and induction equipment and any additional cooking features. We also ask about the installation when the appliance is tightly fitted between finished cabinetry.
A gas burner does not ignite normally
Stop using the affected position and note whether the change followed a spill or cleaning. Tell us whether other burners show the same issue. Internal ignition and gas adjustments require the right checks and should not be attempted to prepare for the visit.
Oven performance is no longer consistent
Explain the selected mode and what changed in an ordinary cooking result. Slow preheat, a stopped cycle and uneven baking are separate observations. The technician can compare them with the model’s heating and control arrangement.
The appliance displays an unfamiliar message
Save the exact text or code and record when it appears. Note any recent outage or other work involving the range. A code provides direction for diagnosis, but it does not automatically establish which part must be replaced.
What we check.
We check the affected burner, induction zone or oven function, including ignition or heating response and controls as needed. Oven temperature sensing and fans may also need testing. The model and fuel type determine the procedure.
Getting ready for service.
Let the appliance cool and clear pans from the cooking surface. Do not move the range away from its connections or restraints. A gas odor requires leaving the area and contacting your utility or emergency services from a safe place, without waiting for a regular appointment.
Describe the cooking surface and oven separately.
- Tell us whether the range is gas, electric, dual-fuel or induction, if you know.
- For two ovens, identify the affected cavity and cooking mode.
- Mention a griddle or other cooking section if it also needs attention.
