What’s changed with your refrigerator?
Monogram refrigeration includes full-size built-ins, columns and other layouts with different controls and access. A custom panel can hide the configuration from the front. Have the model information available if it is easy to reach, and identify whether the freezer is part of this unit or a separate appliance.
The refrigerator no longer stays consistently cold
Describe when you noticed the change and whether it affects the whole cabinet or a specific area. Include the normal setting and any recent outage. Temperature behavior needs to be considered alongside airflow, door closure and the refrigeration system rather than reduced to one assumed failure.
Water appears near stored food or on the floor
Note where you first see it and whether the dispenser or ice maker also behaves differently. A water line, internal drainage and door-related condensation have different implications. Stop use if there is an active leak that could reach electrical equipment.
A door or dispenser has become unreliable
A door that needs extra pressure to close or a dispenser that changes its output is useful to report even when cooling still seems acceptable. Mention recent filter or panel work. A recording helps the technician compare the new sound with normal running noise.
What we check.
We measure cabinet temperatures, inspect door sealing and airflow, and check controls and cooling components as needed. If water or ice functions have changed, we check the equipment fitted to that model. The findings determine the repair.
Getting ready for service.
Clear a working area in front of the refrigerator and leave the installed panels in place. Keep any error or leak photos and note work already carried out. Protect temperature-sensitive contents if cooling is unreliable. There is no need to pull a heavy built-in forward before service.
A built-in refrigerator needs more than a size match.
- Tell us whether it has custom cabinet panels or a stainless front.
- On paired columns, identify the refrigerator and freezer separately.
- Mention recent installation, door adjustment or other repair work.
